Porting Form Porting a number in Global Cell is free and can be done online, by visiting Global Cell office or sending SMS from number that has to be ported on 99900.

The application, submitted by the customer to the receiving operator should include the following information:

a) For an individual:

• Name and surname of the person who wishes to port;
• ID number of the person who wishes to port; Subscriber telephone number(s) the person wishes to port;
• The name of the donor operator; Contact information of the person who wishes to port;

• The desired time of porting subscriber telephone number(s);

• In case of mobile subscriber number - the place of receiving standard SIM-card(s);
• In case of mobile subscriber number - name, surname and ID number of the person who is entitled to receive standard SIM-card, if the person is not the owned of the subscription number to be ported. If the person, receiving the SIM-catf is not the owner of the number, no more than two SIM-cards should be given to that person;

b) For legal entity: • Name of the legal entity, wishing to port a number and the name and surname of the person who is entitled to represent the company;

• Identification number of the legal entity;
• Subscriber telephone number(s) the legal entity wishes to port;
• The name of the donor operator;

• Contact information of the legal entity who wishes to port;

• The desired time of porting subscriber telephone number(s); The porting process will take 1-5 working days after the submittion. Note that porting will be denied if:
• The subscription number that the person requests to port belongs to another person or the owner is unknown;
• The person already submitted an application for porting the same subscription number to another recipient operator.
• 30 calendar days have not passed since becoming a subscriber or from the past porting process. There might be an exception if the donor and recipient operators have agreed on porting earlier than the established period;

• The person, wishing to port the number, has arrears on this number from the previous month(s) for the services received from the donor opertor and/or has limited service because of the arrears; ¬In Global Cell mobile network Georgian GSM mobile operator numbers can be ported. In Global Cell fixed fixed network (Global Tel) Tbilisi fixed network numbers can be ported. In case of visiting the office, a porting application will be filled on the spot. In case of submitting an application form online, it is necessary to fill all the fields. Note that submitting the online form is not sufficient to start the porting process. After submitting the form, you will be contacted by the porting departament for the further instructions.
