On initiative and financial support of “Globalcell”, a new national non-commercial platform – www.geotaxi.global - was created for Georgian travelers and emigrants with motto: “Georgians for Georgians” (Drive along with Georgian).
Using the mentioned platform, Georgian travelers will get an advantage of transport service provided by emigrants (who live on foreign lands) while being abroad. In result:
- Georgian traveler will pay the service fee to Georgian emigrant;
- The cost (or a part of it), paid to Georgian emigrant by a Georgian traveler, will probably be returned back in Georgia and used for our citizens and country;
- It will be easier and more affordable for Georgian travelers to use transport while being abroad;
- In addition, “Globalcell” ensures free cell-to-cell connection between travelers and service provider emigrants. Concretely, “Globalcell”, as a new Georgian mobile network operator (with index 559), will grant Georgian numbers to citizens who live abroad and the cost of phone calls to them will be counted in local rates, while fellow citizens receive the call for free on foreign land.
“Globalcell” advises every citizen who live in emigration to get involved in new national project and offers any person who lives abroad (and has a permission and opportunity to provide an appropriate transport service) to fill in and send us the following application form:
